I depoist appox 10 checks a mth from the same customers. They ave 1K each. I have had a few, less than 10 NSF, mostly due to holds placed on depoists. But BOA holds every check that is not drawn from BOA for 5-7 days. It is impossible to operate a small biz while having to wait so much time for your money. It does not matter what the balance of the acct is, it will still place a hold on each check. And these are major concerns that are well known who are sending me checks. I can understand handwritten checks from a person being held. The branch mgr will take off the holds when he is available. But sometimes he is not around for days. If you are getting NSF's.. you are KITING checks... I'd put a hold on an account that has that many NSF's in that short of a period. Q. All my family used to go to this Dr. Michael Shea in Grapevine (76051). His phone is disconnected and his office is for lease. I have not checked with his neighboring businesses yet. But is there any requirement by law as to what happens to the patient files? Apparently no one has bought his biz as they would have contacted the patients? Thanks!
